Area of Trapezoid
To calculate the area of a trapezoid we need to know the length of both of its opposite sides and its perpendicular heigth. The area of the trapezoid means a largeness of a plane which the trapezoid occupies. For example an area of a trapezoidal garden. The elementary unit of the area is one square metre, it means the second power of one metre (1 m2).
Area of Trapezoid - formula
Area of Trapezoid = 1/2 × (base length a + base length c) × perpendicular height
A = 1/2 × (a + c) × h
