Area of Triangle
The area of a triangle is a plane which is bordered by three sides. A calculation of the area is same for any types of triangles, for right angled triangle, isosceles triangle, equilateral triangle and of course for scalene triangle too.
To calculate the area of a triangle is necessary to know the base length of one of its sides and the perpendicular height. For better imagination, we give the known side horizontally (now it is the base side) and the perpendicular height is the distance from this base side to the opposite top. The elementary unit of the area is one square metre, it means the second power of one metre (1 m2).
Area of Triangle - formula
Area of Triangle = 1/2 × base side × perpendicular height
A = 1/2 × a × h
