# Volume of Cube

To calculate the **volume of a cube**, we need to know a length of its side. A cube is a solid, exactly a regular hexahedron. All of its side is the same length. The **volume of the elementary cube** (a cube with one metre length side) is a unit of volume for every solid. The elementary unit of a volume is one cubic metre, it means the third power of one metre (1 m^{3}).

## Volume of Cube - formula

**Volume of Cube** = third power of side length
